Bragie shrugged. "Yeah, but just in case." He said. Jared was a pretty skinny kid, and Bragie had a hard time believing he could fight off some of the jocks at this school. But then again, Bragie had never seen Jared fight so he really had no idea. He could se that his hands were all scarred and messed up, but that could really be from anything. Bragie had a scar on hishand from playing quarters once.
Bragie's next goal was to decide whether or not he should go to his teacher meeting today. If he went, he'd be leaving Jared, but he'd keep his punctual reputation. And if he didn't go, he would stay with Jared and lose his punctual reputation. It all came down to what meant the most to him; his reputation or being with Jared for that much longer. It shouldn't have been such a difficult decision, but it was for Bragie.

Jared smirked, "Well, then I'm glad you'd do that," he stated. "Although there is no way I'd be able to help you in a fight I can handle myself and that's it," he added. Finally, he stepped away from Bragie and went back over to his bed where he sat down on the edge of it, not really wanting to stand any longer. He coughed a bit and rubbed the back of his neck, not entirely sure what to talk about now.
Like the usual, Jared didn't really have plans for the day. He knew his older brother was in town but he didn't know where he was. The boy loved hanging out with Gerald but at the same time he didn't want to go searching for him. Besides, Gerald was probably busy anyways since he always seemed to be doing something, unlike Jared who never really made any plans.
