Bragie's head snapped unnaturally fast towards the sound and just as quickly he was at Jared's side wiping excess shaving cream off of his face. "What happened?" He asked curiously, taking the time to fold the towel before tossong it into the dirty laundry basket. He sat down next to Jared and eyed the pieces in his hand, wondering what they were.
Maybe it was a little weird how quickly Bragie had responded to Jared's pained expression. It was nothing out of the ordinary; as competitive as he was, Bragie just wanted to be the first one there to help him. That's all. He wanted to make sure his kindness was first- even if he was the only in the person in the room.

Jared looked over at Bragie and then down at the metal pieces in his hand. "I bit down on my lip piercing and it snapped," he answered. He was taken a bit off guard at how fast the other boy had come to his side, but he tried to push that thought away. He glanced at Bragie before he attention returned to the broken metal. The boy frowned. Well shit. That was nearly the only one he had for his lip.
With the broken pieces of metal in his hand, he stood up. He walked over to the bathroom and on his way threw the piercing away. When he reached the bathroom, he looked into the mirror and then started to use the tap water, from the sink, to clean off the small trail of blood that was on his chin. He then gently grabbed his bottom lip and felt down between his front teeth and his lip. Apparently the metal cut him more there because when he pulled his hand away, that one finger was bloody.

"Oh, dang." Bragie replied, with a concerned look on his face. "Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked, genuinely. If he wanted him amd Jared to be friends, he had to really commit on the friendly scale. But, he didn't want to seem creepy. Or worse, too friendly. It was a thin line Bragie hoped not too cross.
But he was genuinely concerned about Jared's bleeding mouth. He would expect Jared to be concerned, too. "I have like, nine first aid kits." He said, walking over to the bathroom where he had kept his abundance of first aid kits his mother had sent him under the sink. He brought one of the tiny boxes back to Jared and handed it to him. "You can use whatever you need."

Jared looked down at his hand and then over to Bragie as he handed him the box. He set the box on the counter and opened it before he started to look through it. "So, um, I don't know what to use for my lip," he said, since it was mostly bleeding on the inside of his mouth. He frowned as he looked to the mirror then randomly stuck his pierced tongue out.
"I'm gonna need to see if I have another stud, but I think all I have is a ring and I hate sleeping with those," he stated. He shook his head, he had never figured that he would actually break the piercing. "I should also stop biting my piercings," he added although he smirked jokingly.

Bragie shrugged. "Maybe there's an inner-lip bandaid?" He suggested, somewhat sarcastically, with a laugh. "What made you decide to get piercings?" He asked, scratching an itch he had on the back of his neck. Bragie was never really into all that stuff- hair dye, piercings and whatnot. He had always seen other guys do it- but he knew it just wouldn't fit with his personality.
He liked the way it looked on Jared, though. Maybe you just had to have the right persona about you to do that. Maybe when he was older, Bragie would get a tattoo or something. Maybe. But, that was a long time away. Bragie flopped backwards on the bed and looked at the ceiling. The fan was blowing air straight into his eyes, which made him uncomfortable so he sat back up again and sighed, waiting for Jared to explain his need to piercings.

Jared shrugged, "I got a couple of them while I was drunk, thankfully that was just my eyebrow and lip," he replied. Then he shrugged, "I don't know really, it was just like everyone that I associated with as a friend normally had piercings or tattoos," he explained. "Although the tattoos were recent, because I actually had to wait until I was eighteen to get them."
He looked through the first-aid and eventually just started to use a cotton ball to get the blood from his lip. It wasn't too bad of a cut, so it easily stopped bleeding. After he cleaned up after himself, he walked out of the bathroom and went to the closet and got his duffel bag. He sat down on the floor and started to go through the pockets on the sides of the bag. Soon, he pulled out a small ziplock bag that had a few different bars and rings. He grabbed the silver ring from it, and then soon put it on his lip.
Tossing his bag back into the closet, he went over to his bed and flopped down.

Ooc;; i hope you don't mind, i'm gonna move this forward a little in the furture :]
Bic;;
Bragie laid in bed the next morning after an entire night of not being able to sleep. He looked over at his digital clock that read five thirty in the morning. He had to meet with some teachers today, but he didn't necessarily want to. In fact, he just wanted to go to sleep until the knot in his stomach disappeared. He looked over at Jared's bed by the window; he looked like he was asleep. Taking a deep breath, he tried to close his eyes again but ended up quickly reopening them. He'd gotten maybe fifteen minutes total of sleep, and it was all a bunch of short dreams. Some of them were pointless. But others... Others kind of made him think.
Most of them included a certain roommate of his. And, unfortunately for Bragie, he enjoyed those dreams. Bragie could deny it to anyone but himself- he definitely felt something more than friendship with this boy. This whole 'not letting it develop' thing really wasn't working. It had only been a day and he ha let it develop into a full blown crush... On another man. What the hell was going on with him?
He couldn'y focus on anything other than Jared at that point, so he tried to quietly get up out of bed and head into the bathroom. There he did his usual morning routine; brushing teeth, shave face, pee. Normally he'd take a shower, but he wasn't feeling up to it just yet. He decided on a goal for the day, however. He needed to get Jared to say he was straight. That way there would be less of a temptation. He just needed to hear that there was no possible way Jared felt the same way.
Bragie finished in the bathroom and walked back into the room, where he sat precautiously on thebe facing away from the sleeping boy. This day was going to be such a drag.. He had four hours until he had to meet with a teacher. And until then? He had to keep his feelings in check.

Jared stirred around on the bed. The blankets were pretty much tossed around while the boy was just sprawled out. Normally, he had trouble getting to sleep, but then once he did get to sleep it was difficult to get him to wake up.
The fact that he had been moved into Bragie's room, really hadn't helped anything. Before it had been a light crush on the other boy, just something he could easily dismiss, although, that was before he had to change rooms. Now, his thoughts always managed to trail back and he would end up thinking about Bragie. Normally, he tried to cut the thoughts short, but it was never really helpful.
Not long after Bragie had gone back to his bed and sat down, Jared started to slowly wake up. As he pulled himself out of bed, his hair stuck out all over the place. He had on a plain white shirt and black pajama pants, since the boy had always had issues with sleeping in just his boxers. Tiredly, he made his way to the bathroom and soon went through his regular routine, which ended with the boy combing out his hair.
Once he walked back out, he looked over and saw Bragie was awake. "Good morning," he muttered sleepily and then flopped down onto his own bed.

Bragie heard Jared stand up and get out of bed, then go into the bathroom and clean up, but he pretended not to hear as he sat on his bed. He pretended to be surprised when Jares said "good morning" even though he was expecting it. And, he didn't really know why. "Oh!" He faked, looking over at him. "Morning." He smiled at him, genuinely. He looked good this morning. "Uhm, sorry. Did I wake you up?" He looked over at the clock on the nightstand- it was only six.
Part of Bragie felt happy to have Jared awake, but the other part dreaded the statement Bragie was about to try and get him to say. Of course, he needed him to say it. That it was impossible that their feelings would match up, and show Bragie that he just needed to focus on his schoolwork as usual. But, Bragie couldn't help himself but imagine how wonderful it would be if he did feel the same. It would only be wonderful for a moment, before realitybset in.

Jared turned his head and looked over at Bragie. He shook his head, "No, you didn't wake me up," he replied. He stretched a bit and yawned before he managed to sit up. He looked across the room at the closet he used for his clothes, he thought that he should go get changed, but at the same time he wanted to just sit here in his pajamas since he didn't really have anything to do. Hell. Jared never really had anything to do.
He then looked down at his tattooed arm out of boredom, not really sure if he should say anything now. Mostly because he hated the feeling of butterflies in his stomach every time he spoke to Bragie, no matter what it was really.

It's now or never, Bragie thought, taking a deep breath as he prepared himself for the seemingly casual conversation he was about to have with Jared. "So..." he started, racking his brain for a topic that would probably result in the conversation he wanted to have. "Are you taking anyone to the Welcome Back dance?" He asked, looking over his shoulder at Jared before deciding to lay on his bed with a better view of the kid.
Bragie heard about the dance a few days ago, but didn't think much about it. He never went to school dances anyway, he always studied through them. Besides, it's not like he had a girlfriend to take. Ever. He was trying to get Jared to admit to having a girlfriend. That would be the ideal response for Bragie- he could then ease his conscience (and his admittedly uncomfortable sex drive) back down to normal. Because whatever was going on with him now was wrong and needed to stop.

Jared's attention went over to Bragie when he spoke. He shook his head, "No," he replied, "I never really went to dances at my old school anyways," he added. Which it was true that the boy had never gone to any school dance either alone or with a date. For the most part he had just gone to parties, and would randomly hook up with people, but he never really managed to keep a girlfriend or a boyfriend.
He looked down at the bed and randomly picked at the threading in the blanket. "So, what about you?" he asked. Although before the other boy could answer, Jared grinned, showing off his messed up teeth, "No, wait, let me guess, you're not going because you're busy?" he asked.

Bragie chuckled, even though his response was no help at all. "Uhm. Yeah. I dunno, I might go." He said, pressing his lips together. He shrugged, making his t-shirt ride up his abdomen a little. He tried to think of something else to say, but didn't know how to saybit without sounding stupid. He couldn't just ask Jared if he was gay, or into him. He'd probably get the shit beaten out of him. Not by Jared, he was kind of a small guy. But by the people he told.
It was so difficult though. Why couldn't he be normal and crush on a female? Why couldn't he just stop thinking about another guy this way? He couldn't- there was just no way. It wasn't his choice, it was his curse. And if he kept this up, he'd be in a whole heap of trouble.

Jared shrugged, "Well, I never really was a fan of school dances," he replied. He looked down at his tattooed arm again, he started to think about the fact that he planned on continuing the design so that it would be a sleeve. Although he quickly stopped the random thought and looked over to Bragie. He noticed the other boy's shirt had lifted up a bit and looked at him a bit.
Once he caught himself he looked away and returned his attention to his arm. Hoping that Bragie didn't notice him looking, he started to talk, "Hey do you think I should continue this design into a tattoo sleeve?" he asked, hoping to make a distraction if the other boy had noticed.

Bragie examined his arm, thankful for the excuse. "Nah," he shook his head. "I kinda like it like that." He hoped that didn't sound too... Well, gay. He didn't want to give himself away over a comment about a tattoo. At least he kept it hidden that he actually found Jared's piercings and tattoos relatively attractive. Something about his whole 'rebel' look was something Bragie found... Hot.
This conversation was moving too slow. He didn't know what to say to make it progress. He figured he should just give up, and figure Jared was as straight as a ruler so he didn't get too caught up in his daydreams. But not knowing.. Kinda hurt. It sent waves of sickness through him like a plague, only he couldn't throw up to make his stomach feel better.
