Jared soon picked up the football and started to walk back towards Bragie. Randomly, he stuck his tongue out, the silver piercing catching the sun, not entirely liking the heat. Right before he reached the other boy, he tossed the football to him and then looked down at the ground where the frisbee was. He frowned and then bit down on his lip piercing.
"So, what do we do now?" he asked. As a familiar craving returned he reached back and pulled a cigarette from his back pocket. He put it in his mouth as he tried to get his lighter from his pocket.
"I think this if the first time I've been to a park in a long time," he randomly stated, somewhat trying to start a conversation.

Bragie made a face at Jared's cigarette. He held his breath, trying not to breath in the smoke. He hadn't really expected Jared to smoke right in front of him, but then again, he also hadn't expected to fear developing a crush on the boy. He took this as an opportunity; the opportunity to leave and think by himself for a little while. "Uh," he started, trying to gain the confidence to say it out loud.
He took a deep breath. "Jared, I don't think I want to be around you while you smoke." He said. There, it was simple and plain. Jared had the choice; put out the cigarette, or keep smoking (in which case Bragie would leave.) It was all in his hands, now. Not Bragie's. That way, Bragie felt less guilty about saying it.

Jared hadn't really expected Bragie's blunt statement but he looked over at the other boy. Since he hadn't even lit the cigarette, he pulled it from his mouth and just put it back in his pocket. "Well, it probably wouldn't help this heat," he muttered. By now, he felt awkward around Bragie, not sure what to do now, and he felt like he did something wrong.
The boy shifted his weight to one leg and put his hands in his pockets as he thought about this. He wasn't entirely sure if he did something wrong or not. Normally, he didn't care what others thought about him, but Bragie was still the only friend the boy had gained so far.
"Did I do something wrong?" he finally decided to ask. There was no point in just leaving the question unanswered.

"No," Bragie said a little too quickly. "I forgot about something I have to do today." He said again, looking down at his watch. "How about we head back?" He turned and started walking, somewhat rudely. He wasn't usually like this. He knew that if he was like this, Jared would eventually start to dislike him. And that would make it so much easier for him to dislike Jared back. He saw a swarm of student around the entrance, and realized they had probably put up the sign for new dorm partners. Why they didn't just do this to begin with, Bragie didn't know. As he got closer, the sign came into view. It wasn't just a sign, it was three sheets of paper with a list of names on it. He pushed his way up through the crowd and took a look at the paper. Wren Jennington & Jared Dagger

Jared just nodded at what Bragie said. He frowned slightly and then followed Bragie back to the building. He shoved his hands into his pockets and glanced around a bit, his thoughts reeling about all of this. Despite what the other boy had said, he felt like he had done something wrong. As he thought about it, he got the feeling it had to do with Bragie being so close to him.
When they reached the building, he saw the crowd of people. He stopped for a bit and then watched as Bragie started to go to the front of the crowd. So far, he had no idea what was going on. He stayed back and just waited sine he didn't really want to try and push trough the crowd.

Bragie sighed. Right next to their names, he saw the number 142. Room 142, his room. Jared would have o move his things into Bragie's room by the end of today. He took a deep breath and clenched his fist. He was suddenly very angry at Jared; but it wasn't anger, it was fear. Either way, he wanted to punch a wall. He figured Jared would make his way over to find the same thing he did, and he knew Jared could manage without his help, so Bragie sneaked away into the dorm hall to catch some alone time before Jared found out and had to move his things in.
The dorm hall was cooly air conditioned, but Bragie didn't appreciate it right now. He just wanted to get up into his room, where he could straighten things up and make room for Jared's things. He slammed the door to his dorm shut and leaned against in, facing towards the door with his hands out in front of him. His clenched fist banged on the door forcefully once, and then he took a deep breathe and moved his things from the closet into the dresser, making space for the newcoming roommate.

After a few minutes, Jared noticed that Bragie had left once the crowd thinned out a bit. He soon looked at the paper that listed the new dorm rooms for everyone. When he saw that Bragie and he would be sharing a room, he didn't know what to think about it. Nervously, he swallowed and looked down at the floor. He was glad that he would be in a room with Bragie, who he could at least get along with, but he was overly nervous and scared about.
By the time he reached his dorm room to gather his things, he felt utterly sick. He dragged out the dark blue duffel bag and soon started to throw his belongings in it. For the most part, all he had was clothes, he just didn't have anything. The tattered Converse he wore was the only pair of shoes he had, so there wasn't a issue with his shoes taking up too much space.
Once Jared was done packing, he searched around the room to make sure he didn't accidentally leave anything. As soon as he was sure he had everything, he grabbed the large bag and headed out, before he went to his new room he stopped by the office to get the key to the dorm room. The duffel bag dragged behind him, and for the most part, he avoided anyone that was in the hallway.
When he reached 142, he stopped at the door and tried to swallow down any fear that had managed to come up. Using the key the office gave him, he unlocked the door and walked in.

The time by himself had given Bragie a chance to think, and reqlalize what was really going on, and how he could fix it. He had just treated poor Jared like shit without even knowing his side. So, all he needed to do was apologize and start to treat Jared like a friend again. Then, if it ever came up, some day he'd know for sure what had happened between them earlier today.
Bragie turned once he heard the door being opened. "Oh, hey man." He said, with a smile. "I guess we're bunking together. Sorry about earlier." He swallowed and took a deep breath. "I get really bad allergies sometimes, and it makes me act like quite the asshole. I was just uncomfortable in my sinuses, that's all." He laughed, wondering if Jared had even noticed how cold he had been. If he didn't, then Bragie had just made himself look like an idiot.

Jared nodded, "Yeah, it's okay," he replied flatly. He glanced around the room and stopped a couple feet away from the door that had shut behind him. In his left hand he still gripped the strap of the duffel bag. He still felt nervous, and by now he wasn't sure why, so, out of a nervous habit, he chewed on his lip piercing.
"So, um..." he somewhat lost his train of thought, not too sure what he had just started to ask. Quickly, he came up with something, "... Where can I put my stuff?" He looked down at his back, "I don't really have a whole lot," he stated. Still, he didn't move from where he stood, although he didn't entirely know why.

Bragie raised his eyebrows. "Oh! Uhm, I cleared out the closet for you. And you can have the window bed if you'd like. The window freaks me out, I'd actually prefer to have the wall, even if I can hear James and Chris watching pornos in the room next door." He rolled his eyes; boys were so... Typical.
He could tell that Jared still felt uncomfortable. He needed to step up his game, and be as friendly as can be so that their having to room together wouldn't be too terrible. By now, Bragie knew he had a small cruah on Jared, but he was willing to suppress his feelings if he could convince himself that Jared didn't feel the same way.

"Um, okay," Jared replied. He walked over to where the closest was and actually just tossed the duffel bag into in, not really bothering to unpack anything. He shut the closet and then turned so he faced the beds. "Yeah, I can take the window bed," he stated.
He walked over to the bed and looked down at it before over at the window. The boy coughed a bit. Apparently, the coughing reminded him of something and so he turned to face Bragie. "Um, so, yeah I kinda need the room to stay clean, like mostly dust, because I do have asthma," he stated. Yeah, Jared smoked and had asthma, it had never been a problem when he was young, but after smoking a lot it had become worse.

Bragie nodded. "Yeah, that's fine." He said. "I like to keep the place clean, too. Just as long as you don't... you know. Smoke in here. " He made a little bit of a face. He was revolted my the smell of smoke. He didn't mind if Jared smoked, just not around him. Bragie looked down at his shirt and realized he had gotten a grass stain on it once while diving for the frisbee. Shame, too. It was a white shirt.
He pulled the shirt off over his head and tossed it into his dirty laundry basket. He dug through his dresser, not thinking twice about his upper body nakedness, and found a similar t-shirt. It was also white and said "I'm Awesome" with a smaller "Lake Tahoe" written under it. He pulled it on over his head and took a deep breath in. The shirt smelled like bleach and tide; Bragie absolutely adored it.

Jared nodded, "Yeah I can deal with that," he stated. "I've been trying to quit anyways and I guess that would help," he added, muttering slightly.he looked down at the floor, not sure what to think about it, but it was true, if Jared couldn't smoke in the dorm room it would maybe help him quit since he might not want to bother with going outside all the time.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Bragie move. When he looked up, he saw the other boy had taken his shirt off. He bit his bottom lip. God. He was buff. Thankfully, Jared caught himself and looked away by the time Bragie had put the new shirt on.
"So... Um, I guess its good we got a room together... I don't think I would have done well with some stranger," he said, trying to start some conversation.

Ooc; xD xD xD xD
Bic; Bragie nodded in agreement. "Yeah dude. It would have sucked so bad having to get used to some other person." Bragie shuddered at the thought of someone who threw their stuff everywhere on the floor, never made their bed, and always stole his powerbars. That was his nightmare, truly. Having Jared wouldn't be all that bad, if he could keep his feelings in check.
The summer had given Bragie a nice tan and lightened his hair a bit. He noticed this as he looked in the bathroom mirror. He stood there feeling his chin stubble for a moment before grabbing his razor and shaving cream. He rubbed the shaving cream on his face and started to shave. "I couldn't deal with a sloppy person. I'd shove their head through that wall." He said, nodding his head slightly to the wall adjacent from him.

Jared sat down on his bed and then pulled his legs up to where he was seated criss-crossed. He could see the bathroom and somewhat watched Bragie but then looked down at the floor. "Yeah, I use to be sloppy at my old home, but after my asthma acted up I had to keep things clean," he stated and nodded. He remembered the small, cramped, room he had in the trailer he use to live in, and it was nearly never cleaned because the boy was normally not in there and when he was he was either drunk or high.
When he talked to Bragie, he knew there was a subtle feeling of butterflies in his stomach and he still tried to push it away. So, he stared down at his tattoos and chewed on the back of his lip piercing, although he flinched when the back broke. He spit out the broken piece and the front part slipped out. "Fuck," he muttered, a bit of blood came from the piercing hole since the metal had just snapped in his mouth.
