Why was it that the place where he got the most inspiration was where he could smell bacon and fat people gathered up like the rolling hills of Oklahoma? Or at least that was his preferred analogy. Personally he hated how rude some of the people that came to the food court were. However he did get his shits and giggles out of it.
As of then Falerin was writing one the last papers of the semester, he couldn't help but dare think of the fact that he'd soon have his well deserved break. Looking up from his laptop he noticed some guy staring at him, he couldn't help but say rather loudly: "Take a picture it'll last longer." The guy promptly looked away, obviously hearing him. He couldn't help but put a smile on his face.
This wouldn't be the first time he had to tell some nosy bitch to stop staring in his general direction. There was one this morning that had been particularly pleasant. He could just remember the comment he made, which he felt so proud of. "Wow, I didn't think there was a mountain range in this state!" Now, he wasn't trying to be mean to the woman. She'd gone off on him for apparently looking at her. /Why would I want to look at that ugly bitch?/ Falerin thought with a roll of his eyes. Within a moment he was back to typing his paper.
Now it wasn't his fault that he had to be downright mean to some people, in fact he oft tried to be pleasant when he could. But some people were honestly just plain ASKING for it. That was his thing, if you pissed him off he was set out to piss you off too. Honestly he rather enjoyed games of fuck fuck, well that was until things started getting dangerous. Usually he had his brothers with him and... Well he was protective of them.
Yes, it didn't seem like he was one who would care about anyone but... Falerin did have a soft spot, people he cared about he would protect and fight for. And it takes a lot for him to trust you, let alone give a damn about you. He couldn't help but break off from the sound of his fingers hammering on the keys. A flashback, of going off on his mother. Her slapping his brother, Cadeyrn, to the floor, and him taking him out of there. Yelling that they were going to California.
Well, that threat had been true. He had worried about his brother, he had a good bump on his head, seeing as he really couldn't fight back against his own mother. That wasn't the way they had been raised. Then, he remembered getting to their house, the one his father had bought for them. Cadeyrn got a new car, and he got a free ride through college. "I'd say I got a better deal." He said, coming back to consciousness.
It was then that he realized that he had gotten...No...Sleep... Last night. His head collided with his laptop and closed it, because that was totally the best place in the mall to pass out. Right in the middle of the food court. He couldn't have made it to a Bed Bath and Beyond or something? Sheesh.
He knew he would be scolding himself for this later, but it was a relaxing sleep. Much to his future displeasure he began snoring, his somewhat messy black hair moving up and down with the rest of his body in the breathing motion. His brown eyes at the time were closed, although they were usually expressionless. If he had any expression at all it was usually on his face, only his deep emotions shown through his eyes.
All around him the food court was moving, buzzing with life. While he was rather... Exhausted from his all-nighter. It was a rather pathetic scene actually. But he had a lot of work to catch up on, transferring his credits to a new college and joining half-way through the semester. The second one being... Well not so good to his personal health. His stomach grumbled loudly over the sound of his snoring at the dream-thought of having donuts.
By then even in his dreams he could almost feel people giving him weird looks. In fact, he was dreaming about him passing out in the food court and well, dreaming! He had a rather uncreative dream scape which often gave him memories of what he did right before he went to sleep. Which, sometimes was good when he had gotten drunk off of his mind. Oh yes, Falerin Arthfael Cealan was quite the odd ass of a fellow. And, now that he thought about it, he was damn proud of it!

Falerin heard someone snapping their fingers in his ear and tried to ignore it. It wasn't obviously someone he knew, because they knew better than to wake him up from sleep. He became a grouchy bastard when someone woke him up prematurely. In less than a second he was back asleep, a good talent that he had.
He stayed in his sleep until he felt a falling sensation. His eyes snapped open, and to his surprise he was actually falling! Falerin's body make a loud -thump- as it made contact with the ground beside the table, and now that he thought about it he was lucky he hadn't hit his head on the way down.
But at that moment there was something else he had to worry about, the ignorant fuck that pushed him. "What, the fuck?" He didn't bother to cover the fury in his voice, and it flickered like fire in his eyes. "Couldn't you see I was fucking SLEEPING? Or are you just a blind ignorant shit?" It was surprising how mad he looked, yet how calm he sounded.
After he properly went off on her he looked over her. Then realizing it was a her and feeling like a completely ass-hole. Especially since this her was especially pretty. But he wasn't about to go and apologize, she had been damn rude to push him out of his chair. What if she had broken his laptop or something? However he didn't say another word.
Instead, he merely sighed and got up. Recovering his composure that he had just lost going off on her. By now he was actually considering at least saying something that wasn't something a complete a-hole would say. "So, um... Explanation please?" He said it nicely, or at least as nice as he could sound when he'd just been woken up from a nice sleep.
Not to mention a well-deserved one. He reached for his laptop and slid it over to where he was standing, opening it and sighing with relief as he saw his paper perfectly intact. He saved it and closed his laptop again, looking the chick who had knocked him over strait in the eyes and waiting for an answer. She was lucky she was pretty, because if it was anyone else he would still be yelling.

[/i] she thought in her head, not even about to think about saying it out loud. She wasn't in the mood for getting cursed at again. For the first time being yelled at, it completely sucked. When he asked for an explanation she promptly looked down at her black flats. "Well, uhm," her mind seemed to go blank for a moment. She looked back up at him. Holy crap he's tall, was her immediate thought. "Well...you fell asleep and I was trying to work and you started snoring and it was...annoying," she explained, her hands moving nervously. She could have sworn he looked like he wanted to kill her.[/ul]

Falerin narrowed his eyes at her, if she were a guy she'd be on the floor right now with a bruise on her face. Because he quite honestly was having trouble containing his temper even towards her. Before he said anything his eyes trailed over her arms, which were all bruised. For a moment pity flooded through him rather than searing hot anger, but it didn't last long.
"Well," He answered, his voice as full of rage as he actually was. "If you found it annoying you could have gone somewhere else. Or you could have just fucking shook me! Not pushed me onto the damn floor!" Now he was snapping again, ah it wasn't his fault he liked to yell at people. Quite honestly he blamed genetics, although that likely had nothing to do with it. Yelling was like... An addiction to him.
He noticed the way her hands were moving, she seemed to be nervous. Falerin let out something like a growl and pulled his seat towards him, sitting back down. What was the use of standing and yelling when there was a perfectly good chair right there for him to sit and yell in? Without thinking about it he pulled his laptop closer to him before he began to speak again.
"And why the hell would you work on something in the food court? You seem like you're too nice to take it. The people here are assholes and you have to be an asshole too if you want to just sit here. That or you need to bring someone with you who doesn't deal with peoples shit." As Falerin spoke once more he opened his laptop and located his save, starting to proof-read it. He might as well do something productive in the middle of his anger. He always seemed to work better when he was pissed.

"It's alright, I'm actually kind of- Holy crap!" Falerin was actually almost about to apologize when she fell. He didn't know why but... He was worried about her. Practically shooting out of his chair he half-ran the few paces between him and her. "Are you okay?" Well this was a completely different mood. Especially for him. /If she hadn't been so put off by my yelling at her she wouldn't have tripped!/ Came the first guilty thought.
He was taught never to hit girls, well he counted this as hitting. And he felt terrible for it, he crouched down beside her carefully. Not wanting to hit his head on the table too, that would just be idiocy. In something of a daze of guilt he reached his hand forward and held the back of her head. "Is your head okay?" Was... Falerin being NICE? Especially to a completely stranger... At that moment he really didn't question it though.

"No, no you can't sleep!" He put his hand behind her head and pushed it up gently. "I think we need to get you to a doctor that looks bad." The next thing that popped into his head didn't seem like something someone so irresponsible as him would think to say. "Is there anyone that I need to call, your parents or something? Because I have a feeling that this could be bad."
Maybe he got it from taking on Cadeyrn as a responsibility. His brother always hurt himself and he always got phonecalls because of it. And soon Almerin would be his responsibility too. /I guess I can consider this feild training then./ He thought narrowing his eyes and tilting her head up some more to examine it himself.

Falerin watched as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. "Do you want me to call your parents?" He asked, starting to look a bit concerned. This girl really was hurt and he had to help her somehow. /Maybe it'll be safer for me to just call an ambulance or something, because if I drive her out there.../ Shaking his head he dismissed the thought. The hospital was fifteen minutes away, he could make that.
Being extremely carefully he lifted her up between his arms. Honestly he had expected her to weigh a bit more, but then again she was pretty small... "I'll get your stuff." He said, understanding her. He picked up his laptop and tucked it under his shoulder. Thankfully he was a big guy, he managed to fit all of her stuff there too. While he was doing all of that he was careful not to make any motions that would really hurt her name. It was at that point he realized that he didn't even know this chicks name. "Hey I know this is the wrong time to ask, but what's your name? Mine's Falerin, but call me Fale." He said with a slight bit of urgency in his voice.

"I'm getting you to the hospital, we'll be there in a few minutes." Falerin said, trying to walk as fast as he could. He was afraid to run because that might jostle her head a bit too much. It would only take about a minute to make it to his car though, thak God for once he parked close to the mall.
He finally made it outside, and it only took a few moments to reach his car. /I shouldn't put her in the back then she'll lie down and fall asleep./ He thought, unlocking the side-door first and setting her down gently, buckling her seatbelt and closing the door. Running towards his side he opened the door, put on his seatbelt and started the engine of his car. Every second was precious and he wasn't going to waste any time.

"No, if you sleep I will take such a tight right turn you will never sleep strait again." Falerin said, starting down the street. "And that's a pretty name." He said shamelessly, after all weren't all pretty girls supposed to have pretty names? And if he kept her talking, even a bit, that would help her stay awake.
The hospital was slowly getting closer and Falerin's hopes were getting broader. As much as he might not care to admit it... He kind of liked this girl. She was pretty, nice, smart... /Opps, to good for you./ His inner monolouge taunted him, causing him to almost let out a growl. However he stopped himself for Annesa's sake.
