Bragie takes his future very seriously. He does well in school, academics, and extracurriculars. He hardly has any time to focus on girls, so he just doesn't. It makes his mom so sad, too. She would love to see what kind of girl can make her only son fall in love. He's the kind of guy who's never ditched school, never done drugs, and never even tee-peed a house. In his spare time he likes to do extra credit in his English class. That's the class he struggles the most in. He's just not as deep as everyone else, he can't tell the figurative meaning of literature from the literal one. He's still, er, in the closet, because mostly he doesn't know what he wants. If he decides to go down the road of flamboyancy, his dad would probably never speak to him again.
Bragie is a friendly guy, and loves the opportunity to help out a stranger. In all honesty, it's not unlike him to help an old lady walk across the street while carrying her groceries for her. He's the guy those nerdy freshman boys look up to; they want to be like him when they grow up.
It's difficult to do, but Bragie can get angry sometimes. Being a man, he turns his fear into anger, and his anger into fury. The only time he's ever been angry enough to do something irrational was once when he was about thirteen. His little sister and him were taking a hike around the back of their house, when she slipped amd started rolling down a steep hill. At the bottom, she was fine. But it scared the hell out of Bragie, and he got so mad at her for letting it happen that he slapped her right across the face. He'll never forgive himself for it; and she'll never forget it.
History:
Bragie has lived here his entire life, and has gotten to know most of the kids here pretty well. He's pretty popular, I guess you could say. He's been doing sports ever since the third grade, and has really loved it. He started out with Pop Warner football, and is playing high school so well that colleges like Brown are begging him to choose them. Whichever college he chooses, you can be certain his father had a very strong influence on it.
Bragie first realized his feelings were different than they should be in the seventh grade, where he befriended a boy named Lucas Grey. He and Lucas were such great friends; they did everything together. One night, they were playing video games amd pulling the typical boy all nighter when Lucas said something strange. "Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be gay?"
Bragie immediately got defensive. "No. That's gross. Why would I? Have you?" He looked over at his friend who shrugged. "Kinda. I mean, my mom said it's a natural thing. It's like. A boy is born with a lowet level of testosterone or something." Bragie eyed the boy. "Are you gay?" He asked. That was when the boy leaned in and kissed him right on the lips.
Bragie remembers the day still- every aspect of it. Every time he thinks about it, the familiar feeling in his stomach returns. He wonders if he'll ever see Lucas again.
Other:
Wren is a little bit OCD. His room and locker are both perfectly clean. And, everything he has, he keeps the box to. Some people think he's just really, really neat. And other's just think he's a freak.
Secret:
He's gay, and nobody knows but himself. And... possibly A?
