Sarah sighed and wiped some sweat from her brow. She had just ran a lap around Rosewood's park. She was feeling great. The endorphins in her brain were moving smoothly. She hadn't exercised in a while and she was getting out of shape, according to her mom. Sarah looked down at her pretty much flat stomach.
She stretched her arms above her head. She was about half a mile from the huge pond. She jogged over to the pond and stood in the grass. She bent over, stretching some more. Sarah decided to do some yoga. The pond happened to be her zen spot. She loved it, she was shaded by a huge tree and she could watch couples paddle in their little boats on the pond.
Breathe, Sarah, breathe. She inhaled and exhaled while doing the Warrior II Stance. She hated this pose, but it helped to start with what you hated, right? She moved on to the Dancer Pose. Her favorite. She lifted her left leg, and grabbed her ankle. She stretched and breathed. Relaxing, she sat on the grass and opened the string bag on her back and pulled out a bottle of Glaceau's Smart Water and drank. She looked across the pond and watched little ducks float on the water. How cute.

[/i] going to sink down so far that he needed anyone's help, not even a dog was going to help him. So he had grabbed his sun glass and had walked out of the house and walked over to the park, almost getting hit by a car in the process. He walked through the park, reaching his arms in front of him every few steps. He didn't expect when he tripped over a root and went tumbling down a hill and landing into the lake, though he was in the shallow part of the pond, so he crawled onto the grass, coughing up a bit of water.[/ul]

Sarah felt something fly by. She wondered what it was. A dog who ran away from their owner? A child? A bounder? A tree? The possibilities we're endless. But she didn't have time to think about it now, she happened to be staring wide-eyed at a boy who fell into the pond.
She rushed over and patted the boys back. She knew who this boy was, he was Kale. A quiet, blind boy. "Are you okay?!" She said in a rushed tone. "Can I get you some water or something!?" Her tone was laced with anxiety. She watched him cough out some water. She slowly moved her hands on his back. God, I hope you're alright. She thought. Patting his back was all she could do right now.

She quickly retracted her arm. Then she frowned. She was only trying to help. "You're all wet." She smiled. "Do you want a towel or something?" She knew he'd probably snap at her again. Too bad Sarah was too nice. She wouldn't leave until she knew he was alright.
She got up, walked back to her bag, and produced a small white hand towel. She hadn't used it yet. She walked back over to Kale and extended her hand. "Here's a towel if you want it." She ignored making eye contact with him, his eyes were sorta eerie. She had to get used to them before she looked into them.

Sarah rolled her eyes. Kale was difficult. Maybe he didn't have any friends. She could understand his whole dependence thing. How would she feel if she was blind and everyone wanting to help her? She draped the towel around her neck. It was a fairly hot day.
She put her hands on her head and breathed deeply. "Well, If you're okay, and you don't need my help. Can I ask you something? What happened to you, like, why did you end up in the pond?" Sarah smiled and looked around for a focal point. She just stared at the pond. He probably knew if people were staring at him. She didn't want to be snapped at again.

"I'm so sorry, that sucks." She felt bad for Kale. When he took off his shirt, she couldn't help but stare for a bit. Trashy. Whorey. Girl. She thought, Have some decency. She smiled, and fixed her eyes on the ground.
She wiped some sweat off and she stared at Kale, first at his chest, then in his eyes. They were beautiful. "So, why are you out here without any help? There's tons of roots you could trip over." Who knew? What if he tripped over something again, and by some crazy-yet-possible way he could land even deeper in the pond.
