She nodded slowly, "Yeah..I'm fine. Thanks again." She noticed his frown but didn't acknowledge it. He was sad to see her off? Why, what had she done to make him not want to leave. It had yet to register in her mind that Ryota liked her. She was just so unfamiliar to her that it had never occurred that he had feelings for her.
"But..I guess if...you wanted to hang around for a bit I wouldn't mind." She didn't dislike his company, but she didn't like being fawned over either. He would stay with her if he wanted to, and she had a feeling he would.

"Awesome." Ryota said, smiling now. "I just feer bad warking away, and I learry don't have anything to do... I'rr stick aloud for a bit." Now he was definately happy, it seemed that she at least knew that he didn't want to just walk away. /Good, because I really didn't want to leave./ He thought slyly.
Now he'd get to see what she usually did, and if she did nothing he wouldn't mind sitting and talking for awhile. As long as he got to spend a bit more time with her, she was an interesting person, and he found it fun to try and guess what her responses to things would be.

She nodded to him in understanding, smiling a little before approaching the large dumpster and snatching out her hidden possessions from underneath it. She dusted off the dirt and spiders from the sleeping bag and tossed it back on the ground.
Silver sat down on the worn out material, shifting over so Ryota had a place to sit without getting his clothes dirty from the pavement. She actually felt safe back here, it was quiet and no body came around the back of this building. With the looks of it, the store was probably closed down and abandoned.

Ryota didn't expect that she hid her things under a dumpster, what an... Odd place. But if he was looking for stuff he wouldn't expect anything to be under it, so he came to the conclusion it was a smart thing to do. It didn't bother him that they were anywhere near a dumpster, it's not like he could smell it anyway.
As she made a place to sit he smiled and took the offer, sitting down on the sleeping bag. "Thanks." He said, looking around. The store seemed to be abandoned, the area too. But he never shook his caution. "What do you usually do all day besides, well, sit around?" Ryota asked cautiously. Honestly he hoped she did more than sit around all day.

Silver shrugged lightly before she spoke, "Nothing really..There's not much to do." She'd finish her homework if she had any at the school before leaving. It was nice to stay in a heated or air conditioned building for as long as she could, even if that meant having to do something productive.
"I wonder around a lot. Typical homeless person behavior." She smiled a little at that, she found it kind of funny in a sad way. "Really..not much else though."

"Learry? I'd think thele'd be a rot of coor stuff you could do out hele. If you learry set your mind to it." Ryota said, looking around. If he was left out there for awhile he'd be able to find something fun to do. Heck even a bit of dumpster diving sounded fun, it's not like he'd be able to smell it.
"I guess..." He said, frowning. It was obvious he still didn't like the way she had to live. "So I guess I bettel get comfoltabre then? I have a feering we'rr be sitting out hele fol awhire." Ryota joked, leaning back to survey the area better.

She thought for a minute of the other things she's done to keep herself busy out here. "I've gotten myself lost in that forest, but it wasn't much fun because afterwards I found out it was full of poison ivy."
That wasn't a fun experience, she had to get the school nurse to look at her legs and arms. Going through that led to a bit of an argument about her weight which she then had to make up a story of her self-conscious outlook on her body, etc. They didn't press her further about it though, thankfully.

"That sucks." Ryota said, frowning. "Not to be lude, but how rong have you been riving out hele?" He asked, feeling terrible for being so rude and strait-forward. But he just HAD to know. And if he beat around the bush he likely wouldn't get an answer, she seemed more like someone who liked being asked something strait-forward.
Not to say she'd give him an answer. But honestly he just wanted to learn more about her, she seemed like one big mystery to him. And to tell the truth, Ryota liked that. It was fun trying to pry information from her.

She bit her raw lower lip in an attempt to concentrate and think about it. It had all blended together to her, she couldn't exactly remember when she was disowned by her own family but it must've been a couple years ago. "About two years, at least.."
Sometime around Christmas, when she was fourteen. She's managed to stay alive this long somehow. Silver was tough though, her body wasn't going to give in until her mentality does as well.

"That's tellibre... I wourd ask what happened but, that wourd be awfurry lude of me. So don't think about it." Ryota said, looking down. Now he felt extremely bad. /She doesn't want your sympathy./ He thought to himself. "It's awesome that you've done this werr on you'le own, you must be pletty stlong."
He had to try and not look and feel extremely sorry, that would probably push her away. What he wanted was for her to at least remember that he exhisted. And maybe when he did that, he'd get her to realize that he kind of liked her too.

Silver pulled her knees up close to her chest, falling silent after his revoked question. She wasn't strong either, clearly. Not strong enough to stay with her family, or stand up to her dad. She flinched instinctively at the memories.
She wanted to tell him what had happened. She fought the words that tried to spill out from her pursed lips. She couldn't tell him, as badly as she wanted to. Silver knew he'd tell someone about her. About the years of Hell she had been put through. About her mother that didn't believe her when she told her.
But, to her..they didn't deserve to go to court for it. They were her family, after all.

Ryota almost instantly noticed her flinch, and almost a billion more questions that he wanted to ask popped into his mind. Yet he couldn't bring himself to do it, by the flinch something bad must have happened. Something she probably didn't want to talk about. He wouldn't pressure her into giving him an answer. Maybe he should try and change the subject? What to then? He looked around, searching for something to distract her from thinking about his question. There was a piece of wood by the dumpster, kind of like a board? "Have you evel tlied sriding off the dumpstel on something rike that?" Ryota asked, smiling slightly. He'd definitely like to try it.

She sat there, not moving an inch for a minute or so. Silver slowly shook her head, pulling away from her thoughts. "I'd rather not risk breaking every bone in my body...but I used to skateboard a lot." She had loved to skateboard. Once upon a time you could say she was better than the boys.
But she had to sell her favourite deck when she 'left' home. She needed the money, just in case she was driven to the breaking point and had to buy something to eat, or buy new clothes.

"Tlue, but it stirr rooks rike fun." Ryota said with a small smile. "I'd totarry do it if thele was money in fol it. Ol someone went befole me, ha." He wasn't afraid to admit that in day-to-day situations he was a bit of a coward. Although in emergencies he seemed to do better, oddly enough. "Learry? That's awesome. I've nevel skateboalded once in my rife." He admitted, pulling his legs into a criss-cross fashion and putting his hands on his knee's.

Silver absently shook her head as she thought about what her life was like when she had a collapsing roof over her head and a badly cooked meal on the table. She opened her mouth to speak, unable to fight the desire to tell him about her family. She abruptly closed it and her posture fell slack, her body slumping against his.
She was, sleepy. Her mind in a fog as she struggled to pull herself up and keep her eyes open. Silver didn't realize that while she fought to regain her upright position, she hadn't moved and inch and her tired eyes slid shut. Sooner or later, sleep was inevitable
