Oh yeah, Tom could charm the pants off of a snake. Was it that cute accent? His cute boy-ish face? Or the fact that he's a sweet guy, maybe it was all three? Sarah took a drag and tapped the ash off into the little dirt ashtray.
"We would be screwed, but you'd probably charm it and it'd loan us a ship and we'd fly back to Earth safe and sound." Sarah laughed. Oh yeah, that could definitely happen. She inhaled and exhaled making smoke rings, that was her favorite trick to do with smoke.

"It? Don't shag blokes," he chuckled. "I think I'd be a well ship captain, mh?" Thomas grinned at their dreamed up adventure. "Still not keen on skankin' wif' an alien like that, not my thing." He finished off the last of his cigarette, exhaling and putting it out on the grass. "Think I'll stick to byrds." He didn't realize she might not know what use of byrd meant, they both sounded the same but meant completely different things.
Tom propped himself up on his elbows, unsure of what to do next. He couldn't shake the gross thought of sleeping with one of those xenomorphs from his head. ew.

Sarah laughed, "Oh yes. Captain Tom." she grinned. Tom really was a funny person. "I'd hook up with an alien. Sounds like fun," she joked, finished her cigarette and stubbed it out in the dirt. "I think you mean broads, not byrds. I knew what you meant, but it might take a girl off guard."
She immediately imagined Tom laying on that English charm and calling the girl a "Byrd." She'd probably frown, and say "You mean, like a sparrow." and walk away without Tom getting her phone number. She laughed. "Just a tip."

"Did mean byrd, but broad's easier t'get across." he grinned, "I'd prolly get slapped f'sayin' either though." he laid back down in the grass, chuckling to himself. Tom generally got turned down for the things he said, hardly realizing that most girls didn't understand his quirky speech habits. Words like skank and byrd usually didn't go over well.
Girls from the UK normally weren't that good looking, but at least they understood what he was saying.

"American girls like being called by their names." Sarah giggled. "Slang tends to be offensive, not to me but to dumb sluts." She smiled, there really was nothing wrong with being called a broad. It's better than being called a 'whore' or something. That would pissed her off.
Sarah stood up. "Should we go?" she smiled. She was afraid to get caught in the football field and suspended from school. That would seriously put a damper on things for college. She reached her hand out to pull Tom up, knowing him, he'd pull her down just for the hell of it.

Just like she expected he tugged her down back. Thomas snunk a kiss on her cheek before rolling out from under her. He dusted the gravel from his clothed and offered his hand to her, "C'mon, while I've got me clothes on. The last thing I need is for th'cops t'find me 'ere again." he grinned. Luckily he and the girl he was with didn't get suspended, but he did get a stern warning.
Tom liked to take warnings more or less like suggestions, that he didn't have to necessarily follow. He wasn't exactly phased or concerned about the law at this point. He's done worse than hang around behind some bleachers.

Sarah smiled when Tom kissed her on the cheek. She grabbed his hand and pulled herself up. "Thanks Tom." She kissed Tom on the cheek again. "We'd be in huge trouble if the cops came here, my parents would be pissed." She folded her arms across her chest and looked at Tom.
"Now what?" She smirked. Watching stars and hanging under the bleachers were a fun thing to do while it lasted, but she was getting sort of cold and wanted to go indoors or something. Maybe they'd go to her house or Toms. Either way, as long as they were inside, she would be really happy.

He shrugged his shoulders, "I'unno, y'wanna go back t'my house? I fink y'Borderlands file's still on my Xbox." They'd end up having a few more drinks, attempt to play the videogame, and probably end up finding something more exciting to do.
From what he knew about Sarah's parents, they weren't a big fan of him. Showing up slightly intoxicated with her wouldn't be the smartest thing to do for either of them.

She loved playing video games with Tom. His games were far cooler than hers could ever have been. His house was fun, too. "Alright, let's go!" She was excited to play, and the sooner they got off of the football field, the better.
She walked by Tom, they passed the 50-yard line. This field was one of her favorite places on campus. At lunch, Sarah would come here to study and get away from the noise in the lunchroom. She was usually to shy to go to a teachers room or something, they'd probably had their fill of the students during classes. They didn't need to be bothered during lunch.

He grinned, the five minute walk from the football field to his apartment complex was hardly a nuisance. It was surprising quiet out in the field, unable to hear the rowdy partiers in their dorms from out here. "What character w'you again? Th'girl, right? Cause I remember calling' tha' big black guy when w'first started the file."
He lead her up the short flight of stairs from the building entrance to his floor. Tom fumbled with his keys for a moment before finally unlocking the front door and heading inside. His apartment was messy, as expected. Empty bottles and takeout boxes littered the tabletops.

She followed Tom up the stairs and inside the building. She looked around. Tom needed a maid. The empty bottles and boxes strewn around the room. "Yeah, I was the girl." She smiled, took off her hoodie, and threw it on the back of the couch. She sat down on the couch and stretched out a little.
The bottles and boxes bugged her a little bit. So, she decided to do something about it. She grabbed a takeout box and a beer bottle and threw them out in the garbage bin. "Tom, do you ever clean around here? You need a maid." She smiled, picked up another bottle and threw it into the garbage.

He looked around the room, seeing the state of it as no bother to him. "I clean when I have to," he said as he kicked off his slip ons and walked over to the fridge. He retrieved a couple bottles of beer and the quarter empty pizza box from last night. He set down the food on the table and handed her one of the beer bottle before turning on his Xbox and sitting down beside her.
"Do I 'ave t'show you what t'do again, or are you alright?" he asked as he snatched the bottle opener of the coffee table in front of them. Truth be told, Tom could easily hire a maid with the money his brother had loaned him, but in his eyes that would just be a waste. He didn't care about the state of his apartment to begin with so why hire someone to keep it clean?

She giggled. "I'll have to come over at times and at least try to keep the garbage down a little bit." She smiled and grabbed the beer out of his hands. When he opened his beer she took the bottle opener and popped open the beer.
She took a swig and watched the game load. "I think I remember how to play, but I might need some help with it." She smiled before grabbing a wireless controller from the coffee table. She was excited to play, she was probably a bit rusty from Xbox games, she was more of a PlayStation 3 person.

He explained his messy home as he set up the game. "I fink tha' mess completes th'whole 'my domain' aspect. Make's it homier, f'me at least. I'm used t'it (lol that spells tit.). I 'ad lived on a bus f'two months. A bus filled wif' sweaty, gross trash an' people to match."
Taking a mouthful of beer Tom controlled his character, quickly clearing the area of enemies for the basic instructions to play through for Sarah.

Sarah shrugged. It wasn't in her place to clean up his house. It's not like she lived here. She looked at Tom. He did. "Whatever floats your boat, brit boy." Sarah laughed. "Thanks for clearing the enemy for me." She smiled. She could have taken some of those guys out.
She took a swig of her beer and placed it on the coffee table. Her hair was getting in her face, it was one of her pet peeves when gaming. She quickly took the small elastic that she used as an accessory on her left wrist and tied her bangs up. She looked stupid and knew Tom would get a kick of of that, but she didn't care. If he did laugh she'd just kill him in game for revenge.
