Sarah parked her 1994 Beige Ford Taurus in an open parking spot. It was a very old and crappy car, but hey, it was a car, right? Some kids have no car and no job. She was happy with what she had. She hated spoiled brats, well, that wasn't true. She didn't hate anyone. Her mom taught her to not hate, love with everything you got.
She got out of her car, grabbed her bag and started walking to Rosewood Mall. She worked here, at the Wet Seal on the second floor. It wasn't the most glamorous job, but she loved their clothes and prices. The clothes were cute, with pretty low prices. Well, If they were on sale. Her black heels made a click click sound on the linoleum of Rosewood mall, it was one of her favorite sounds, seeing as Sarah was obsessed with clothing, and shoes. She got into the elevator. She never felt safe on escalators for some reason. Maybe because when she was little, she saw a kid fall off of one once. Yeah, that was probably it.
She arrived at Wet Seal. "Hey, Carrie." She slightly waved to her co-worker. "Hey." Carrie smiled before she returned to folding the on-sale shirts. Sarah went behind the check out counter, she entered her employee ID and pin number into the computer so she could start working. She sat on the small stool behind the counter and waited for customers.

"I wish you wouldn't smoke in my car."
"Bite me." Koral eyed her brother with amusement, blowing smoke out the window. Through the side mirror, she could see Jodie mouth a silent apology and flick her smoke out the window. She rolled her eyes slightly at her best friend, looking forward again when the mall came into view. "I'll text you if I need money," she joked, smirking at her older brother. She knew very well that Spencer would willingly give her some more money if she wanted something enough, but she'd never let him do that.
"Thanks for the ride, Spence," Jodie smiled at the blonde boy, who just waved off the thank you without another thought. He always said that it was no problem to drive Jodie and Koral places. She hopped out of the car and shut the door with her hip, following Koral up to the entrance to the mall. "I wanna go check out some electronics stores first, okay? I'll text you and we can meet up again later."
Koral simply nodded at her best friend, waving slightly over her shoulder as they parted ways. She made a beeline to the first store that she saw; Wet Seal. Patting her wallet in her back pocket, she figured that she had enough to shop there. The small blonde girl walked in, pulling a few strands of hair back behind her ear and eyed up a few rather small t-shirts. Koral was a small girl, she could occasionally pull off a few shirts with child-like sizes.

Sarah was fiddling around with her fingers, was there a reason why Wet Seal wasn't busy? Every girl would love to have new clothes? Wouldn't they? Sarah leaned on the counter in front of her, God this boring. she thought. She watched the front of the store.
A few minutes passed by, then a small blonde girl came in. Finally, I was about to go crazy from boredom. She watched the blonde browse through tee shirts. She shrugged and decided to walk up to her, she's just doing her job.
Sarah fixed her hair as she walked, and took a deep breath. She smiled sweetly and said, "Hi, welcome to Wet Seal. My names Sarah, may I help you?" Sarah usually didn't give out her name when she welcomed people, but she really didn't have anything better to do.

Koral just barely managed to avoid jumping slightly in surprise when someone started talking to her, having not expected anyone to approach her. Slowly, she looked away from the t-shirts and at Sarah. "Well no, not really," she forced a bit of a reassuring smile, but it fell back into a focused frown when she looked back at the shirts.
After only a few seconds and a few steps to the right, she spoke up again. "Actually, you could. Do you have any, like...light blue belts?" Koral asked. The request did seem a bit random, considering she wasn't even looking at belts at the moment, but she did need one. Her favorite light blue belt had been ruined not long ago and she wanted to replace it.

Sarah could tell that the girl jumped, she know felt automatic guilt. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." Sarah saw her shuffle over a couple steps. Then she heard her request. "A blue belt?" Sarah smiled and walked over to a wall hanging with belts.
Sarah took off a light blue Chambray Wasist Belt. "It's a little wide, but it is blue." Sarah smiled again and walked back over to the blonde. "I'm sorry, but this is all we have." She held out the wide, double clasped belt. "Hope you like it."

Koral laughed. "Don't be sorry," she drawled, continuing to look over the shirts until Sarah came back with the belt. She took it from her and looked it over absently. "It's fine. Almost perfect," she smirked and nodded to herself, satisfied.
"Thanks," Koral said after a moment, having realized that she had been impolite and not thanked her yet. Spencer's rubbing off on me. I'll have to beat him a good one later for that. She amused herself with her thoughts. "So Sarah. D'you like working here? Seems kinda...empty," she looked around, not impressed by the lack of people in the store.

Sarah smiled, "No problem, it's my job!" Sarah displayed her pearly whites again. "I love helping, it makes me feel good inside." Sarah sighed. You got that right, it's pretty much always empty in here. Sarah laughed. "The salary's good. But it is empty sometimes, but I like those times the best, I love the music they play in the store, so it's like no big thing." Sarah laid her hand on the top of the shirts rack and leaned against it.
"But ya know, it's a job. One I really don't need. But it's something to do other than school. I usually just give my money away anyway." Sarah laughed. "Or I spend it on more clothing and shoes. There my favorite things! It's natural for me to work at the mall, I love to shop!" She couldn't emphasize 'love' enough.

Koral smirked and chuckled slightly, quite amused. "Still, thanks," she hummed, pulling another shirt from a rack and hung it over her arm with the belt over her shoulder now. "You just give your money away? Wow," she shook her head slightly, though the smirk was still on her face.
"Yeah, I like blowing my money at the mall too." Among other things. The blonde decided against voicing the drug problems that she had that required money out loud. That wasn't really something to mention to a complete stranger. Well, she did know that her name was Sarah. "I'm Koral, by the way," she said, realizing that she hadn't actually told Sarah her own name. Well, now she had. "I like shoes the best, I think. I spend a lot of money on shoes alone."

Sarah smiled, "Well, it's not like I go up to someone and say, 'Here. Want some money? Take it!' That would be insulting. I usually share it with my friends if they need it." Sarah walked back over to the counter, bent over, and grabbed a black mesh bag from the counters shelf. She walked back to Koral. "Here," she handed her the mesh basket. "So you don't have to carry that stuff on your shoulder." Sarah smiled.
She shrugged, "I always blow my money here. It's better than like, shopping at a department store." She laughed. "I love shoes. I especially love dresses." Sarah spun around, just like she was wearing her favorite yellow sundress. But then again, you look stupid twirling around in jeans and tee-shirts.

Completely shamelessly, Koral checked out Sarah's rear while she was bent over and smoothly went back to looking at the shirts just before Sarah straightened up again. She grabbed another shirt before gratefully nodding at Sarah and taking the mesh bag from her, putting the things that she had picked out in it and hooked it around her elbow.
Koral laughed slightly when she watched Sarah twirl out of the corner of her eye. "I'm not much of a dress person. I haven't worn one since I was seven," she admitted with a half-smirk, moving from the t-shirts and to the jeans. "I like going to the arcade in the mall too," she chuckled. "As long as I'm with someone else, though."

Sarah followed Koral to the next rack of jeans. She pointed to the wall, there's more jeans on the wall on those shelves if you don't like these." Sarah smiled sweetly. "I love dresses, they make me feel, pretty." Then she laughed, "You should wear dresses more often!" Sarah looked down at Koral's legs, "You definitely have the body for it!" Oops, was that hitting on a customer? She bit her lip, "That's coming from a professional view."
Arcades are fun, there a great place for dates. Sarah talked in her head. "Arcades are cool, sometimes they even have cute boys." She gushed, Too bad I don't like boys as much. she laughed inside. "Too bad I always suck at video games." She laughed. She'd rather be online, playing role-play games and checking Facebook.

Koral glanced towards the other jeans and nodded. She'd probably end up going over there as well. She seemed to be very picky when it came to jeans. It was worse that she was picky and had to look for an small size since she was tiny. So whenever she found jeans that she loved, they usually weren't in her size. A pain in the ass, if you asked her.
"Well, you're pretty anyway," Koral smirked and narrowed her eyes slightly, laughing a bit at the compliment. "Thanks. My legs are short as hell, though. I'd probably look like a little girl if I wore a dress," she joked, snorting with amusement before looking back at the jeans. "If they do, I don't notice them. I just notice the nerdy ones," she chuckled. "I'd like to think I'm...okay at video games. I like the dancing ones."

Sarah looked at Koral shuffle through the jeans. She was very pretty. Screw it, she sighed. She was hot. She really was, with her blonde hair and cute face, she was a little short but that was fine with her. Sarah liked her, too bad she probably didn't have a chance in hell. She had just found one of the cutest girls ever, but she probably wasn't gay, or bi.
Sarah smiled at the complement. "Thanks, you're pretty too." Sarah paused, more like gorgeous. Sarah thought. "Nerdy guys are the cutest! With there totally cute glasses and such." Carlie smiled just thinking about it. You're much cuter. She bit her lip. If she announced that to her, she'd probably run screaming.

Koral moved over to the jeans that Sarah had previously pointed out, having not found any pair that she liked in the other section of jeans. "Thanks," she smiled over her shoulder for a moment, then browsed through the jeans. She pulled a pair of apple bottom jeans out and thoughtfully held them right in front of her legs, like she could figure out if these were okay just from doing this. She had no desire to try on her shirts, but these jeans would have to be tested.
"Really? I guess you have a point," Koral pursed her lips thoughtfully before turning back around to look at Sarah. "Maybe we should go to the arcade later so you can show me some of those nerdy guys," she suggested. Well, that was the reason that she was giving Sarah for them to go to the arcade together. Her real intentions were kept hidden. "Mind unlocking a change room for me?"

Sarah pointed at the jeans Koral was holding up, "Those are really cute." She smiled. "I'll show you all the cute boys at the arcade. The vest ones are the tall ones. Cause they're really sweet." Sarah smiled. "We totally should go together sometime. It'd be fun!" Her tone was laced with major excitement.
What the hell are you saying? She said to herself, It's not like it's gonna be a date, don't get so excited. Carlie took a pair of keys off of her lanyard, and pointed to a small room near the back of the store. "Follow me." Sarah said, walking toward the small change rooms. She unlocked one and put an 'Occupied' sign on the door handle. "Go on in, i'll be right here if you need anything."
