"Text me later, you. I need to go meet up with Austin. Okay? Don't forget!"
Romeo simply laughed and shook his head with amusement, waving his friend off. Chase looked sternly at him for a few more moments before turning and left the food court. Romeo would most likely forget to text her. He might call to apologize for forgetting. For some reason, Romeo didn't really like texting. Calling or simply talking to some face-to-face was more his thing. It was just more personal.
Once Chase was gone, Romeo quietly finished off his fries and tossed his garbage into a nearby bin, shoving his hands into his pockets and left the food court. He'd probably wander around for a bit, maybe shop. Recalling that his mother's birthday was coming up, he made a mental note to find something to give her as well as a card. He kind of wished that he had thought to shop for his mother while Chase was still around. He had no idea what his mother could possibly like to have for her birthday. If he asked his mom outright, it would sort of ruin the surprise and he was sure that his mother would insist that anything he got her was lovely, or that he didn't even need to get her a gift.
Romeo chuckled to himself, amused. He knew that his father would be getting his mother something big, as always. They were still so in love with each other. Honestly, Romeo wanted to end up like his parents. It must be thrilling to still be so spontaneous, despite being married for so many years with two children. He had yet to see any other older married couple that was like this.

Aliana walked through the mall carrying close to a million shopping bags. It had gotten to the point where she had to put the smaller bags into the bigger ones so she could carry them all. School was about to start and she had hit up about 10 different clothing stores and 5 different jewlry and shoe stores to get some new cute outfits. It was senior year after all! She walked past the WetSeal clothing store and looked into it at the clothes dreamily. "No, Ali. You've already spent too much money already." She sternly told herself.
Aliana felt her phone vibrate in her pocked. Bzz bzz bzz! She clumsily tried to adjust her bags so that she could get her phone out. When she finally managed to get the stupid thinng out of her pocket she looked at the caller ID. Jerk Face. She giggled to herself. Jerk Face was the nickname she had given Evan on her phone when they had gotten into a fight awhile ago. She still hadn't changed it back.
"What?" She answered the phone like she ususally did for her brother. Where are you? "I'm at the mall, why?" By yourself? "Yeah..." It's a big mall, that could be dangerous. "Oh, put a sock in it. Evan. I'm fine." Ali, I'm serious. "I'll be home soon. Don't get your panties in a bunch." And with that, Aliana hung up her phone. "Idiot hole..." She muttered to herself before turning her phone on silent so she wouldn't be bother by him trying to call back. She stuck her phone back into her pocket and walked into WetSeal.

Romeo stuck his hands in his pockets, humming absently to himself while he wandered around the mall, looking for a store that could possibly have something for his mother. He paused in front of WetSeal, frowning thoughtfully. Would his mother want such clothing? Were they...fashionable? He laughed with amusement at his thoughts. Absently, he peered through the window at the different clothing.
Just before he turned to walk away, Romeo spotted a girl on the phone just outside, frowning curiously though tried his best not to eavesdrop on her conversation. Instead, he casually made his way into the store. After a minute, he spotted the same girl from before. Smiling to himself, he slowly made his way over. He realized how weird it was to see a boy in such a girly store, but that didn't matter at the moment.
"I don't suppose you have any suggestions as to what a guy should get his mom for her birthday from here, do you?" Romeo chuckled a bit, grinning at the girl.

Aliana turned to look at the guy who had spoken to her. She looked at him curiously for a moment. What the heck was a guy doing in Wetseal? She shrugged the thought off and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Uhm, I dunno. What kind of figure does she have?"
Aliana glanced at the graphic tees on the wall behind the guy. There was a really cute one with two raccoons on it that she knew she had to have. I noticed you're gangsta. I'm pretty gangsta myself, one raccoon was saying to the other. Ali giggled slightly and looked back at the guy.

"Um..." Romeo trailed off. His mother was...like a stick. "A stick," he voiced honestly. She was an extremely small woman but Romeo knew that she could drop kick him into Hong Kong if she really wanted to. He shook his head with amusement. Luckily, she was a nice woman and Romeo behaved, so he had nothing to worry about.
"I'm Romeo, by the way," Romeo introduced himself politely, grinning as he stuck his hand out for a handshake. "Not the best place to meet a boy, but oh well," he joked, referring to the fact that they were in WetSeal.

"Nice name," Aliana struggled to re-adjust her hold on the bags so that she could shake Romeo's hand. "I'm Aliana." She introduced herself, shaking his hand quickly. She took a moment to glance around the store at all the new clothes they had. She walked over to one of the walls of shirts. "Hmm...do you know her size? It would be kind of difficult to buy her clothes without knowing a deffinate size. And what kind of style does your mom like, do you know?"
She pulled a cute tank top off the wall that had necklaces printed on it. She held it up to herself and frowned, putting it back on the wall. "And I do warn you that this place is pretty expensive. How much do you love your mom?" She giggled and pulled another shirt off the wall, holding it up to herself for a moment before putting it back.

"Thanks," Romeo laughed a bit. "It's nice to meet you," he hummed, eyeing the amount of bags that she had for a moment with a smile. "Well..." he paused thoughtfully, following Aliana, "...she likes shirts with cartoon sort of things on them. And funny shirts," he shrugged a bit. "I can't say I know her size, though." He sighed and shook his head.
Shoving his hands back into his pockets, Romeo eyed the various shirts. "Yeah, I noticed that. I'm sure I can afford something for her," he laughed. "She's lucky I love her as much as I do," he joked, flicking his hair out of his face and thoughtfully skimmed through more shirts. "Oh wow. I think she'd like this. I wish I knew her size though." He pulled out a green shirt with a cartoon-y dinosaur on it.

Aliana looked at the shirt that Romeo picked out. She giggled. "Can you take a guess? But go a little bigger than you think that she is. This stuff shrinks in the wash like crazy. It's really annoying." She sighed and skimmed through the skirts. She pulled out a silky black skirt with white roses on it. "This is cute," She said to herself. "I could help you pick out an outfit if you like...if only you knew the sizes. Maybe you can text your mom and ask her?"
With the thought of texting Aliana pulled out her own phone. She had 3 missed calls and about 7 worried texts from Evan. Ugh, that tard. She thought to herself. She shoved her phone into her pocket and looked at Romeo expectantly.

Romeo nodded in did as he was instructed to do, putting the shirt back and pulled a different one out that was a bit bigger than what he thought would fit his mother. "She's working now, unfortunately. I probably should have shopped for her sooner," he chuckled to himself, draping the shirt over his forearm. At least he had a shirt for her.
"If worse comes to worst, I'll ask my dad about it later," Romeo shrugged a bit, quietly pulling his own phone out and sent a greeting text message to Chase, not wanting to face the girl's wrath later when if he didn't text her. "At least I've got something for her. I just need a card and then maybe I'll get perfume or something...fun," he grinned.

Aliana giggled. "I suggest Hallmark for the card and Bath and Body Works for the perfume. Although you may look odd in Bath and Body Works too." She smiled to herself and turned back to the wall of clothes. I could use a new swim suit... She thought to herself. She picked a pink zebra striped swimming suit off the wall.
Aliana sighed and glanced around the rest of the store. I should really stop now... She sighed and walked up to the check out desk to pay for the swim suit, being careful not to get any finger prints on the clear glass counter. She took the bag from the lady after she paid for the swim suit. "Damn that was almost 50 dollars." She muttered to herself.
Aliana looked over at Romeo to see if he had followed her. "Are you gonna get that?" She asked, stuffing the new Wetseal bag into a big JCP bag. She sighed again and tucked another piece of light brown hair behind her left ear.

Romeo chuckled and nodded, looking back at all of the different shirts around him when Aliana went to go pay for the swim suit she had picked out. Were there any others that he thought his mother would like? No, not really. And he didn't want to go and buy a whole bunch if it turned out that they didn't even fit her.
Shrugging a shoulder at himself, he walked up to the counter after Aliana asked him if he was going to get the shirt, nodding in confirmation at her and pulled out his credit card to pay for it. The price didn't matter, since even he thought the little cartoon dinosaur was a bit cute, and shoved his hands into his pockets after hanging the bag off of his arm. Turning back to Aliana, he grinned a bit. "Would you rather ditch me or do you wannt go do something else?" He laughed good-naturedly.

Aliana waited for Romeo to get done paying for the shirt. "We can go do something else. I'm not in any hurry." She answered his question, putting all thoughts about her worried bitch of a brother out of her mind. She brushed more hair out of her face. Note to self: pin hair out of my face next time I go extreme shopping. She though to herself.
"So...what do you wanna do?" Aliana asked, not really sure of what else there was to do here. She had pretty much gone to every store that had stuff she liked. She glanced at her phone to see the time, only 3:30. She shrugged and looked back up at Romeo.

Romeo walked over to Aliana, heading towards the exit, intending on leaving WetSeal. "That's a good question," he chuckled, glancing around the mall as soon as he left WetSeal, figuring that there might be something nearby for them to do. "I've already eaten. Are you hungry?" He inquired, absently pulling his phone out of his pocket and text Chase again.
"Then maybe...well, we could go to the arcade here or...oh, I need to shop for a new lipring. I haven't gotten a new one in a while," Romeo hummed thoughtfully before absently toying with the lipring he was wearing now.

Aliana shrugged and thought about it for a moment. She had been in Rosewood for a little voer a year, but she had never gone to the arcade, and she didn't exactly know where one would shop for a lipring. "Uhm, can I take all this crap out to my car, and then we can go to wherever to look for you lipring? Where do you even get them at? Hot Topic?"
Aliana began to head in the dirrection of the parking lot her car was in. Thank God Wet Seal wasn't too far from it. She didn't think that she'd be able to make a walk all the way across the mall with all the crap she had. She flipped her hair out of her face as she tried not to bump into the people that she was passing.
