Only a few minutes before, Daniel was walking out the door with an umbrella over his head, leading Dylan to her car (well, it wasn't really her car, it was Rachel's) and after that, watching her drive off. He shook his head slightly and headed back inside, closing up his umbrella and headed into the living room. His little brother had been visiting, since unlike Daniel, he lived in a dorm at the school instead of at home, but had left before Dylan had got there since Dylan would have given him a hard time.
He calmly flicked on the tv to a music channel so that he had something to listen to while he searched for something to eat. He grabbed a can of Pepsi out of the fridge and set it on the counter, then went for the plate of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that his brother had made before he left. He knew all about Daniel's inability to make food, so he usually made sandwiches for his older brother.
It's so miserable outside. Daniel looked out the kitchen window with a frown. He liked the smell of rain and occasionally liked rain in general, but not when it was pouring rain like this. It was the depressing kind of rain that you see in movies when it's a sad part. Shaking his head with amusement at his mental musings, he turned his attention back to the sandwiches and picked up on, putting the plate back in the fridge.
Seeing as how both Dylan and Riley had visited him and his parents were up in bed, Daniel was considerably surprised when he just barely heard someone knocking on the door. The rain was drowning out quite a bit of sound. At first, Daniel considered ignoring it; he might have just been hearing things. But eventually, he did go to the front door and peered through the peephole to see who it was.
Allison? What's she doing here? Unable to see her injuries by just looking through the peephole, Daniel opened the front door and was considerably surprised by the red he could see on Allison's arm and hand. "Allison, what the hell?" He questioned, surprised and urgent. He stepped aside to let Allison in and moved away to the downstairs bathroom, regardless of whether the front door was shut or not. He pulled the first aid kit that he knew was next to the counter and went back out to Allison.
"Come into the kitchen. What happened?" Daniel inquired, gently gripping her uninjured arm and led her into the kitchen, which was lit up enough so that he could properly see Allison's wounds. He frowned, setting the kit on the table and opened it up. Hopefully he could figure out what to do.

Daniel grabbed a cloth from the bathroom after a moment of thought and wet it down with lukewarm water, being as gentle as he possibly could while he cleaned Allison's arm, though there wasn't that much to clean considering the rain had helped to wash her arm. The worried look remained on his face as he grabbed the roll of bandages from the kit and tenderly wrapped Allison's arm, focusing on that instead of pushing her to tell him what had happened.
"Yeah, stay here as long as you need to," Daniel told her. He didn't have the heart to send her back out into the rain, even if she had come here healthy and happy. "Do you know if you broke anything?" He asked when he noticed how bad her hand looked. He didn't know how to take care of broken bones, so he'd probably have to take her to the hospital if she had, indeed, broken something.
"Try to move your fingers," he requested, returning to wrapping her arm up and pinned the bandage down after cutting the bandages that he had used away from the roll and tossed it back into the kit. He grabbed the cloth again and gingerly examined Allison's hand. He thought it was slightly ironic that Dylan had left only a few minutes ago, completely missing her friend in such a state.

Daniel nodded, watching as she moved her fingers, believing that there really was nothing broken. "Alright," he sighed, slowly grabbing the tweezers. "Let me pick some of this glass out, then, and wrap your hand," he said, not questioning why there was glass stuck in Allison's hand and gently grabbed her injured hand, bringing it up slightly so that he could pick out some of the glass that was stuck in it.
"Do you want a bath or something? I could run you one. Or food?" Daniel offered. Since she was staying there, he figured that he would give her his bed since it was no doubt the biggest and then he would either sleep on the couch or in Riley's old room. He figured that he'd end up on the couch, because sleeping in his brother's room was a bit awkward. He knew that his parents wouldn't have a problem with Allison being there.
Of course, he hadn't failed to notice that Allison was soaked. "My parents are sleeping, so I can't get you any women's clothes unless you have some in that bag you brought. I can let you wear some of mine, though. They might be a little warmer. You're freezing," he sighed, gently wrapping her hand up, still unaware that it was broken.

Daniel frowned worriedly, but still reluctantly agreed to let Allison go to the hospital tomorrow with a nod. "Alright. I'm driving you there to make sure you go," he sighed, knowing that Dylan wouldn't be happy if he didn't walk her home if she happened to want him to. Hopefully, she would be heading home with Rachel in her car.
"The shower's upstairs, first door on the right," he instructed, pulling away from Allison's hand and did the first aid kit back up. He was still worried, but he wasn't going to force Allison to do anything. He would eventually be fine with her going to the hospital tomorrow. "I'll get you some clothes now, actually, so I'll just show you where it is. Follow me."
Daniel took the first aid kit and, after making a quick detour into the downstairs bathroom to put it back, he headed upstairs and gestured to the bathroom upstairs. "It's right there. If you want, you can come pick out something to wear from my room so that you're wearing something you like."

Daniel nodded, going ahead into his room. He flicked the tv on, completely distracted by it so the time flew by for him. He turned his head when it noticed movment out of the corner of his eye, mentally scolding himself for looking Allison over quickly.
"My clothes are just in that dresser. Pick whatever you want," the jock gestured to the dresser right next to the small bathroom that was attached to his room, smoothing his hand back over his hair and pointedly turned his attention back to the tv. "Whenever you go to sleep, you can take my bed. I'm good with the couch," he informed her before he forgot all about it.

Daniel shifted slightly, leaning against his stack of pillows that were piled up against his headboard. "Don't worry. I'm not letting you sleep on the couch and I wouldn't want anyone to sleep in my brother's room. There's probably mold in there," he joked, absently smoothing his shirt out slightly. Obviously, the thought of sleeping in the same bed as Allison didn't really occur to him.
"Yeah, I don't plan on telling her. She'll flip," Daniel sighed and shook his head. Dylan was one of his best friends and he loved her dearly, but she was clearly someone who always wanted things to go her way. And Allison staying with Daniel without her permission? That was not Dylan's way. "Oh, you wanted something to eat, right?" He said, slowly getting back up from his bed. "I have some PB&J sandwiches I can bring up here if you want."

Daniel frowned thoughtfully at her for a few moments before slowly nodding. "...alright, we can both sleep here if that's what you want," he said, blinking with surprise when Allison tried to pull him back onto the bed.
"Aren't you hungry?" The jock inquired, comfortingly squeezing her uninjured hand for a moment. "You can come pick something out, if you want. I'm sure there's something you can snack on...I just can't cook," he shrugged with a bit of a laugh, smiling reassuringly at her. "Breakfast will be way better. My mom's a great cook."
